~Breakfast with Santa~

Yesterday we had breakfast with Santa at Drake's school. They had everything decorated so pretty and had Christmas music playing to get you in the spirit. Drake wasn't real sure about what was going on and he was sleepy which didn't help the situation.

 

 

Santa took a stroll around to all the tables to talk to all the kids. Well Drake wasn't real sure about Santa to begin with when he first came out. As Santa neared our table Drake made sure he kept his eyes on him at all times. And then he finally made to our table! Santa handed Drake a candy cane and he threw it and then started crying. We got a quick picture together which was asking a lot of Drake. He just wasn't feeling it at all! Santa moved on to talk to the other children and when he came back by Drake decided to hit him a few times! Talk about embarrassing! I blame Hunter!

 





~ Beach & Breast Cancer Walk~

This past weekend me, my mother, Drake, three nieces and sister-in-law took a quick trip to the beach! They were having the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Pier Park. So we all loaded up to go support Mom/Meme/Debo. We all bought pink bras and bedazzled them to show our support. We even had t-shirts made that says "Festavan Fighters" on the back. I would also like to send out a special THANK YOU to Sara(my old roomie) for coming down to PCB to do the walk with us! And of course Gaybo too!!

~ WE ARE FINALLY MOVING~

We are MOVING!!!! Can you tell how excited I am!! We have finally found a house that we both agreed on. It is located in Helena right off Hwy 17/Morgan Road. I never thought this day would come. We are supposed to be closing on November 9th. But we shall see!! I am trying to stay on top of everyone to make sure this happens.

 

This is a picture of the new house! It is a foreclosure and needs some things done. Like new landscaping!!

 

 

But as soon as we get everything moved in and fixed just how we like it I will post more pictures. 

~ 1st Day of Playschool~

Drake started his 1st day of playschool yesterday!!! He goes twice a week for a couple of hours each day. We both made it through the day without crying! I would say that is a big accomplishment itself! When I dropped him of he went to his teacher without even crying. So I ran out the door cause I knew I would start crying.  His teacher says that he did great! He played with friends and sat at a big boy table and ate his lunch. He even brought home his first artwork!! Time has flown by so fast!

 

 

 

 



~ Roll Tide~

The past couple of days I have been working with Drake on saying Roll Tide!! He gets better and better everyday! You have to start them young!

 

 



~ Last Minute Beach Trip~

This past weekend we decided to take a quick trip to beach. We loaded up Thursday morning and got everything packed and ready. But first we had to make a pit stop and his school for meet the teacher. And of course we made our usually stops at the Country Mall and etc. But we made it down there in no time and even tried a new route.  

 

As soon as we got there we checked to see if the surf was still up to the steps. And luckily it had gone back down and each day got better. Friday morning we woke up and it was gloomy and foggy so we decided it will be shopping day! We shopped till we couldn't shop anymore and racked up on some cute clothes!

 

Saturday and Sunday we layed out and hungout on the beach. Drake is definitely a people watcher! And sometime between since Sunday he has picked up the new sound of squealing like a little girl. It's the type of squeal that could bust an ear drum! And does it whether he is happy, mad, or sad. And still does it after you tell him NO! Somebody stayed in trouble the entire weekend.

~ Drake's 1st trip to the Zoo ~

On sunday we decided it would be a great day to take bubba for his 1st trip to the zoo. The weather was almost perfect it was cloudy and it wasn't steaming hot like most days. So we loaded up and set out for our adventure.

As you can tell he is super excited! This is how he was the first hour we were there for some reason.

The Alligators didn't even phase him.

And we are almost done with the trip and he still isn't having fun. I guess we will start going to monster truck shows and go see anything that makes loud noises. Maybe that will catch his attention!



~ Drake's 1st Riding Lesson~

For Drake's birthday mommy and daddy got him his first four-wheeler. So we decided we would try and teach him how to ride this weekend. Well it didn't turn out to good. But I know before we know it that it will be his favorite new toy. And then I will be chasing him around the neighborhood.

When he first got on the four-wheeler daddy was showing him how to work it.

And this is probably why he is scared to ride it. Daddy thinks we have to be hardcore from the start.

And he was over it very quick!!!

~Anniversary~

Well today four years ago Hunter and I got married! I can't believe we have already been married four years and have a sweet little boy. It seems just like yesterday we were planning the wedding. I guess time flies when you are having fun! There is definitely never a dull moment in our life.

~Drake's 1st Birthday Party~

On July 28th we had Drake's 1st birthday party at my parents house. It was a pirate themed party using the colors red, black, and white. Little man loves him some Jake and the Neverland Pirates. We invited some family and a few friends. He is one loved little man because he got tons of new toys. We can't even fit them in the house! He didn't manage to make it through the entire party. After he opened his presents he passed out.

~Smash Cake Session~

On July 4th weekend we headed to the beach for mini vacation. While we were there Drake had his smash cake pictures taken on the beach. Need I remind you that I have some how managed to break a bone in my foot. Walking on the beach with crutches is for the birds!! If it wasn't for my mother it wouldn't have been possible to take the pictures. And I want to thank Allison, Wendy, and the girls for helping too!! But we got some good pictures. I can't believe my baby is already one!! AHHHHH!
